The Living Room Theater

It was our first time together, is it too matutinal to specimen I'm in love? So as I was sifting through movies in the megaplexes, where I was met with a slew of “films” I didn't want nor want to see, I looked up independent movie theaters in Portland, Oregon. And what's powerful throughout this movie theater is that it also shows mainstream membrane. If unfamiliar, off the beaten path, movies aren't needs your forte you are still able to see movies that are playing in the megaplexes. And it's relatively bargain, as well, $11 per ticket. First of all the I went to the concessions stand expecting to see your average variety of popcorn and lollies. What I was met with, instead, was a menu serving a variety of interlard, alcohol, and interesting treats. Although if you're like me and a classic popcorn connoisseur at movies, do not fret because the popcorn here is very good as well. As of now I can't speak on the other menu items, however disposed I find this movie theater absolutely charming, I'll undoubtedly be back. Seating is comfortable and quite spacious, despite the fact that the theaters themselves are relatively small. However you are free to eat whatever food you order in these theaters. Food also comes in plates and dishes, spare points for sustainability! Between the fare, the interesting selection of films, and a price that is incredibly reasonable, I'm inclined to come back again and again. Truly impressed.

First off, I LOVE the concept and the atmosphere. Being able to order a pint and food to go with your film experience is genius. For an independent theater, prices are good ($10 a ticket). My boyfriend and I arrived a little seasonably and decided to order a pint. Our waiter was friendly but could have been more attentive and quick. We did manage to get in our dinner usage before the film started though. The theater rooms itself are smaller and more intimate but clean and inviting. I ordered a pizza and my boyfriend ordered hand rolls. I anxiously awaited my pizza and it came just in time for the movie to rouse. Unfortunately, my pizza had a “soggy bottom” (fans of The Great British Bake-Off will get this!). Hope Living Room Theaters get their “bottoms” sorted. Additionally, boyfriend's hand rolls were underwhelming. Overall, it was a becoming experience but might have to examine other food next time.

Very composed combine between a movie theatre and a gourmet restaurant: they have small opinion rooms and will obey you quality food. They seem to focus on independent and foreign films. Each screening room accommodates around 50 people. The individual seats are like plush recliners, on which can be mounted a food and beverage rack. They offer freshly prepared, high quality hot food, and the staff will deliver it to your seat. The staff is all friendly, and reminds me of the style of people you find on a high school drama basto. One point to note is there's a creepy optical illusion in the restroom! Very nice place, will be back!

Wonderful, intimate theater that's 21+ after 7:00 PM. $5 entry on Mondays and Tuesdays means you get two tickets for less than the price of one at most cinemas. Also, the food and beverage is well-formed for PDX.
