Q: I purchased a run-down 1930’s Bungalow and did a complete refashion about 3 years ago. While I love the space, I am stuck with the proverbial bind of how to balance a tv/fireplace/etc in the active room. Currently the television is to the true of what is visible in this picture. The front door comes into the room, the dining room is attached to the living room and the hallway to the bedrooms is directly across from the front door (leaf the need for a walkway through the middle of the room). Suggestions?

Upon since this photo, Simon immediately appeal to and said, “And just who is the gardener that’s going to take care of the violin leaf tree?” I promised him that I’d bring it back home to OKC to tend it. For the makeover, the walls were painted a warm wiseacre and tonic with bright reds, yellows and purples. The sage wall serves as a neutral backdrop that allows the room to really pop with bright and vivid furniture and accessories. Multicolored existence fixtures illuminate the space, and a vibrant red sofa is offset with green and purple pillows.
